    Ironically summoner was the gold standard last expansion. At 50 the dots and basic pet management were there, 60 had dwt and deathflare, 70 summoning bahamut, 80 leaning into ruin4 and the second demi. Frankly to lose that for a job that doesn’t change past the mid 20s speaks volumes about the design team.

    Not realy. Sage receives such little features for an EW released class. It feels like a complete waste. From lvl 76 to 90 SGE feels exactly the same. And the reason for lvl 76 is because there you at least get some extra healing tools that can alter your rotation.

    While SCH also doesnt get a lot, Protraction can at least still be used in the rotation for healing to save some casts somewhere else and optimize the healing potential.

    And yes, SGE gets a dps ability at lvl 90... yet healers still hit as a wet noodle to begin with. And for a DPS oriented healer... 330 potency is a joke. WHM gets one of over 1000+ potency at lvl 74... Why doesnt sge get to see such numbers?

    While I agree with your overall point misery is functionally 310 rather than 1240 because of the way lilys work but otherwise yes, “DPS healer” ie different coat of paint on eos and otherwise same design as the other 3

    SGE is a great EW healer, too bad EW healers are all hot garbage

    Technically, I'm happy with my main job, Warrior, because of the aesthetic (love love axes and the berserker feel) and the mitigation is fun. I love just being this superbeast in dungeons and going from near critical health to full is always satisfying. Also, I don't mind its simple rotation either (I started in the expanded free trial so I did not get to experience the Warrior of the past). However, there are sadly issues I have with it that prevents me from fully enjoying it. The lose of Overpower cone was one thing I loathed but I'm not too pleased on how its gauge is just a Fell Cleave/Decimate gauge. I like simple jobs but I just feel it's too simple even if it means more Fell Cleaves not from burst. Also, Warrior was def lacking in DPS, which does slightly sour my opinion on it.

    Paladin needs more damage
    I don't play gunblade.

    Samurai is fine and fun.
    Reaper could use a little more complexity in its super boring rotation.

    I only keep playing SMN because I still hope that they will revert some of the extreme simplistic play style, but loosing hope fast. It’s extremely boring play style and am still gutted they destroyed my beloved class.

    I considered changing my main but with the hot mess at the moment of completely revamping classes to a completely other play style I just do not trust them anymore to not also completely change that class after i fully leveled and equipped the class. Which will probably make me ragequit the game completely.

    So just taking extend breaks from time to time hoping that maybe in the future they will realize that the constant over simplifying of the classes was a mistake.

    I main WHM, SCH, and SGE collectively, and if I say I like them over on the healer forum, I get demolished, called bad, people go to the abacus and try to critique my logs that other people uploaded (I don't run add-ons and genuinely try my best and read stuff like Balance but don't record or upload stuff myself) and so on, all because I dared to disagree that the game is hot garbage and the healing role and all Jobs in it is dying and every healer either hates the role or is a bad player wanting free carries, etc etc.

    I'm not sure if it's that way everywhere, but it seems on the forums if you don't hate the game, you're attacked for saying so.

    So at the risk of being attacked:

    Post-6.1 changes, WHMs seem pretty happy, SCHs seem pretty happy, SGEs seem at least content, and ASTs seem pretty happy. Outside of the forums, that is. If you set aside the general dislike of one-button-spam, most healers seem to like how their Job functions okay.

    Most of the Tanks seem to be well liked, though by different people. What I mean by that is that players seem to have a strong like of one and dislike of others. PLDs find WARs boring but seem to enjoy their overall rotation including its wonk since that gives them opportunities to optimize. WARs like going unga bunga with a straightforward and functional system that just works. GNBs like having their rigid and high speed rotation and are happy now that Continuation skills have a bit of range for moving the boss, though some were a bit annoyed that Bloodfest was changed to the 2 min burst window (which PLD mains are terrified their Job is going to be forced into next. And DRKs are content with the Living Dead change and seem to like being dance partnered in their burst phases, even if down sinking for roulette content is less than enjoyable to many.

    DRGs seem to like their Job, and I haven't seen a lot of complaints from NINs after the Fleeting/Forked change. Though a caveat with NIN is that a lot of people aren't super happy with the Trick/Mug change...

    DNC and BRD I haven't heard complaints from. MCH is a different story...for good reason.

    BLM, RDM, and (though this one is a mixed bag) SMN players who DO like the SMN rework (or are new SMNs who enjoy it/picked up the Job post-rework) all seem to enjoy their Jobs and class fantasy, they just dislike the balance/tuning numbers right now in the case of RDM and SMN.

    So at the least, a good chunk of healers, all the tanks, DRG, NIN, DNC, BRD, BLM and arguably RDM and SMN seem to be happy and satisfied with their Job.

    We really need an updated "Job satisfaction" survey. The most recent one seems to be from 5.25 or something ridiculous like that, and so much has changed since then...

    EDIT: I think the big thing here is realizing how diverse the community is, even among players of a single Job. Some WHMs love WHM, while some others hate it being braindead. Some SMNs hate SMN, but others LOVE it being easy and straightforward and summoning the big boys to fight for them. Even within a Job, you're going to get a lot of variation.

    So I get the "on the whole/which Jobs do a majority of players who play/main them enjoy" is more an average/aggregate thing. I think my answer above is probably a rough ballpark for that.
