    Indoor/Outdoor Furnishing Presets

With each and every major patch, we are getting more and more of housing items while the indoor housing item limit remain the same

If you're like me, you probably somewhat satisfied with your housing decoration, but then new patch comes along, and there're lots of new housing item to try out, or sometimes you just want to explore building a new style, but don't want to destroy the current decoration, which you probably spent hours to build & improve upon

We desperately need an Indoor Furnishing Preset function where the game saves multiple housing item decoration setting, so we can freely explore various styles of indoor/outdoor housing decoration without the hassle of removing every single item every time, and the burden of managing them in the inventory

Sorry if this feature has been requested/discussed before. But it has been years since I expect the dev to bring forth this QoL feature but so far it's still being ignored

Almost like glamour plates for houses! lol, yeah this would be much appreciated with how long it takes to set things up. Especially if you use a lot of glitching to get things where you want them to be. It would feel less bad to tear it down and try something new if you knew you could always go back to it if you don't like the new build as much.

That said, I feel like it would be a big order for the devs. But I don't think it should be impossible. If it gave a list of all items necessary and you placed them in the house and/or storage then it should be able to work. But I wouldn't hold my breath for something like that.

The main reason why i dont redesign my house is the limited storage space, i would need to throw away hundreds of furniture items to to have enough space for new things

I'll use my apartment when I want to try new things out without messing around with what's already in my house. It may not be as big an area but I can still get a good idea of how things will work out.

Most furnishings are easy to replace. Every time I go to redecorate, I end up desynthing (or vendoring if they won't desynth) a lot of my old furnishings that I'm not expecting to be using again any time soon.

I'll also store any expensive or very hard to replace furnishings (like the seasonal event items) not currently being used as decoration either in my apartment or on a retainer just in case real life gets in the way and i have to take another unexpected break from the game.

I think players go about the mod issue the wrong way.

They should be encouraging SE to incorporate the more popular mods that don't disrupt game balance directly into the game so console users will have the same benefits. Short of implementing an anti-cheat feature, there are PC players who will continue to use their mods regardless of SE's stance on them. May as well give console players that same QoL that many of those modes are designed to give.

Yes, but it takes about 5-8 years for SE to implement such features.

Well, there is an addon to do it.. AND it's pretty benign as long as you don't put items into the ground or into the air - so it's hard for the witchhunting player Stasi to detect.... but yep, we need this brought into the client officially to avoid account sanctions.

+1 to the idea. of housing glam-plates. Internal or External.
