I intentionally turn the option on for the test, Ramp my resolution up as high as possible hoping for the resolution to be switch using DSR. Finally it just triggered by playing Trust in the Tower of Babil 2nd boss when he use the 3 spiky bomb and it explode, or the chakram when we need to getting small. The resolution switch to lower one with stuttering when it does the switch. I died on the double chakram hit because the stuttering prevent me to get small. And so I get back to the entrance. Then I noticed that the resolution still lower and I've got a huge FPS boost for a few second before it switch back to the resolution I've set. That also make a stuttering but just once. I go back to the boss and continue with the option on to see. So I have conclusion above about when the switch was trigger.
After the resolution switch got triggered, It just like it was looping back and forth between high and low resolution while stuttering every time it switching. Maybe the stuttering were detected as lower fps and triggering another switch and another stuttering? Just my assumption. Turn the option off and the stuttering goes away.
About DSR, When the stuttering triggered I try to set my resolution to the recommend monitor's resolution so the DSR should be disactivate. The stuttering still persist. BUT I need to use DSR first so it trigger any resolution switch. Since my PC always run smoothly over 60 fps at the monitor's resolution. So maybe DSR is related. Or maybe not. I'm not sure.

I make this report just so the dev have the information to improve the game.
Personally I would just turn off the option until it get any further update. This doesn't affect me when playing the game the usual way I play it regularly. So it's not urgent.
Anyone feel free to try the step. I'm little curious about would this happen to the others the same way or not.
