AST and DRG changes got delayed because they were not adjustments. They are planning full reworks. I can't comment on AST as I don't play healers, but DRG is literally fine the way it is right now.

also keep in mind current new SUM is basically a template of how they'll build upon for future expansions so here's hoping it gets a lot more interesting than what it is now.

I don't think you understand what the word rework means. Adjusting potencies is not a rework.

Also I'm pretty sure I've seen a bunch of posts on the forums of Dragoon and Astro players saying they don't want reworks and just want minor tweaks to their jobs and are terrified of what Square is going to do to their jobs and are happy they're getting pushed back.
