    HW: The Grand Melee

    I've been watching people play old content again.

    Did it strike anybody else of this being a rather complex set of mechanics for an event that happens exactly once?

    Did anybody else get the feeling that this was going to be a PVP event type, and then it got scrapped, and they just reworked it into the plot instead?

    Or am I just rather odd again?

    I mean didnt they do the same thing with the Nadaam instanced fight in Stormblood that became a pvp kind of match?
