    In terms of dmg and mig drk is great. However, if war and pld gets too close to drk dmg that would be bad. Because drk do not have crazy sustain and the rotation need some work on burst window. I really think DRK need some qol (double weaving so much is gross) and sustain in near future if it keeps continue like that.

    Imagine this situation its going to be a hard one.
    I enjoy Paladin a lot, but I also know it has some issues, it's not perfect as it is right now, sadly that maybe due to the more streamlined jobs, current Paladin doesn't fit into, also don't think fitting Paladin into 2 minutes would make them a "boring" job as long as you kept the core of it's rotation, I don't wanna stress this enough I'm also really worried about any Paladin changes that are too much.

    People can like current Paladin for what it is, people can enjoy its current rotation But you can also want adjustments so it does fit in more with the other tanks, the debate over its rotation is weird, I'm sure most people that play Paladin don't want a "Major" rework of its rotation, but I think it's fair to say it's understandable why people are advocating for current changes, why SE are likely going to change it because of the low PC

    I don't think if you put PLD under 2 minutes it would completely ruin the job, you already adjust your atonements to fit under raid buffs better. Paladins have multiple openers but it's becoming more and more Just a prepull fof opener arguably I don't think a job should run a damage boosting cooldown before a fight it feels a bit messy, Paladins defensives are in a bad spot as well, In my opinion at least that Hallowed ground being so long that when other tanks get 2 uses your normally stuck with 1 invul use, your holy shelltron being broken for a lot of mechs such as damage over times, other minor things like DV being annoying to use and not benefiting you. ECT.

    I personally think PLD and DRK needs changes but DRK right now isn't in a bad spot like PLD, just most people don't really like playing the job or what its become at this point.

    DRK's problems (needing a full rework imo) cannot be solved by a mid-expac patch
    WAR's and PLD's current problem (dealing significantly less damage) could be solved with a mid-expac patch.

    Just stop playing DRK til they fix it, and if that day never comes, so be it.

    So... am I not allowed to ask for making Dark Mind half-magic half-generic mitigation?
    10% magical, 10% generic - so 19% vs magic, 10% vs everything else?

    Or how about we lost any and all internal synergy within the kit? Going from using MP to gain Blood and vice versa and other kit synergies to having a single-target and AOE combo generating both resources, slapping on OGCDs with no limitation other than their own cooldown and turning Delirium into "Spill Cleave window"?

    It is the most one-dimensional gameplay loop I have had to play for god knows how long, yet we need to shush because we are "the highest damage and the fights have magical busters", like as if it remedies every problem we have?

    Ayyo. Maybe I am overreacting, but this is seriously the vibe I'm getting from some posts in this thread.

    Nah your not over reacting Dark knight is fine "meta" wise but gameplay wise It needs a lot of work, The main issue is that Paladin and warrior were changes that are smaller scaled and needed, Paladin is even being looked at which is likely bad news for anyone wanting a dark knight rework, but i think personally both jobs need to be "looked at" but not made anymore simple in paladins case, DRK needs to be changed into something new In my opinion right now it's a bunch of bursts and weaving then 1, 2, 3 It plays pretty much like warrior.

    Dark does need work from a gameplay standpoint, It's just easier to change numbers then to change anything gameplay wise. hence again the PLD didn't get any non potency changes yet.

    I'm still kinda mad about the fact they shackled Carve & Spit to Abyssal Drain. Its not like Abyssal is the AOE version of Carve and Spit,
    You use C&S on Cooldown, you hold Abyssal drain until you need a heal, and that heal is really pathetic right now.

    At this point I think devs are holding out until 7.0 to do light/major reworks to all the tanks. This tier of savage especially has proven changes need to be made.

    I'm confused where it actually feels bad. It is great in ult/raid/trials and performs just fine in dungeons. What else is there? I mean I guess they could give us Dark Missionary at or below 70 so we aren't the only tank that doesn't have group mit on ucob/uwu.
