We get ignored because we dont listen. Years ago we was asked to put feedback on a topic in one thread. But we still don't, we create hundreds with a few likes in each one.

This is easily the most ridiculous thing I see here. Everyone has to stand on their own and have their own voice on something. There's a search function for things like this. You can't guide people in the right direction either. You're just a hater and a SE bootlicker if you do.
The community team doesn't need to step up. The community does. Everything happens so randomly because this place is a shitshow. Looking through all this, it feels like people often DON'T care about any changes. They just want to complain. That much seems clear to the team, so they're not doing much.(my emphasis)
I agree that more interaction from the Community Team would be nice. I definitely don't agree that it's better they stay away because forum users are likely to be abusive or whiny.
This forum could do with more interaction from the Community Team and more moderation. Moderation is a huge issue that has been touched on before.
Multiple posts on the same topic? - no action
Blatant click-bait and troll threads? - no action
And then randomly, action taken that seems heavy-handed or disproportionate. (personal opinion)
To me the moderation feels very hit and miss, but mostly miss. People are going to differ in what they feel is appropriate and acceptable, the moderators should be setting a clear standard so topics are well organised, duplicate threads get merged and people don't indulge in trolling or start exchanging personal insults etc.
When the community is left to largely to itself and there isn't a lot of communication from the Community Team, that's when you get problems. Considering how little input we get, I think we're doing pretty well; though there have been times when General Discussion has been almost all troll threads and pointless necros.
From what I've seen, the Community Team only post to say 'Hi' when they arrive and after that, we only get to see them when there is a big problem and feelings are already running high. So, of course they're going to get a fairly strong response.
People like to feel they've been heard. Even if they aren't going to get what they want, a response that acknowledges what they've said and gives reasons why their request can't be met will go a long way towards keeping goodwill and trust.
