Are we ever going to get Team Matchmaking for CC?

Edit: To elaborate, I mean a SEPARATE queue from the existing casual/ranked where a premade team of 5 players matches up against another premade team of 5 players.

Im one to admit, at very least casual should have some dynamic queue system, but I would keep full-team matchmaking limited to custom matches for now.

Based on The Feast's limitation of 2-man queues in casual, a 2-man or 3-man queue could work without making queueing into pairs borderline obnoxious while keeping the matchmaker with minimal burden to find fitting team stacks to form a match.*

*= this is compounded by 1 job per team limitations, which might make certain job pairings difficult to match.

...giving people an option will not break the mode, especially if it is kept within limitation. Also not like people have done queue syncing before with similar results.

Also a pair or trio of players being on discord does not automatically mean they will roflstomp casual, for all we know those are casual friends and hardly any good at PvP. There is also the chance you will end up on a pair's side.

Good players will stomp, solo or grouped does not matter.

Yes, that's what I meant.
Hence "team" matchmaking, not "party" matchmaking.
CC was clearly made for coordinated teams to play against each other, as seen by the existence of PLD, BRD, DNC, AST, SGE, and SCH at the very least, if not other jobs as well - And the fact that this is impossible without having both teams prebuilt is an absolutely pathetic show on SE's part.

I'm not sure what game you're playing if you can't see that a Team CC queue will just make it so people queue sync together to get 1m30 games taking turns throwing. Especially if such a mode gives rewards and series XP.

But who knows, maybe you're right and there is this huge hidden portion of the already fragmented PVP community that is just waiting for the option to queue up with 4 friends just for the fun of it...

What you want already exists, it's on Discord and it's people organizing custom games. But that ain't very popular. But I'm sure if it was its own separate queue it would pop like crazy all day everyday, on all data centers.

Damn, you got me. I'm just bitter that I could never find 4 people to play CC with.

Even though I played PVP for quite a while, I barely know anyone and I have no idea how team-based PVP has ever worked in this game.

Please enlighten me with your wisdom, Ô great PVP master beloved by so many.
