Infinite Logging In

Hi everyone. I have been working for a week to get FF back up and running. Took me 3 days to redownload and install it due to the download constantly stopping, and getting cannot download patch errors.

First, I got the black screen after hitting play. I seemed to have solved that. I'm almost in, almost in, get to the login screen with the mail moggle bouncing, and it just stays there. Waited 30 minutes last time never getting into the game. I'm doing more research, tweeked config files, firewall and antivirus are off, updated literally everything on my PC, followed dozens of fix-it tricks I found on the net and youtube. Nothing works.

Anything will be appreciated and thanks in advance because this is tiring and my eyes hurt lol.

Thanks for providing us with your system report! After reviewing it, we noticed that the game is currently installed on your [D:] drive. If possible, we would advise uninstalling and reinstalling it on your primary drive [C:], as having the game installed on a different drive may cause issues. Additionally, we would strongly advise updating your graphics drivers, along with any other drivers that may be outdated on your PC.

Additionally, I would also like to ask about the errors that were initially preventing you from installing the game at a steady rate. Would you be able to provide us with the full error message or code that appears when you get these "cannot download patch" errors?

Thanks! I uninstalled it, then cleaned up my C drive because there wasn't enough space. Redownloaded it from my D drive to C drive, turned off firewall/antivirus, and it worked. Works perfect. What a relief, the withdrawal was bad.
