Callback Campaign - Friends List Empty

So a while back, both my husband and I stopped playing FF XIV for various reasons. I have since re-started, and when I did I unwisely deleted all my old characters because I wanted to start fresh. I recently got the notice about the Callback Campaign but, since this is a new character, my husband is not on my Friends List anymore.

Is there any way I could get him a Callback Campaign invite?

nope. person to be called back has to already exist on your friends list first.

Very disappointing. He ultimately decided not to reactivate his FF XIV account because "you wouldn't get anything out of it."

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

It would appear that that your issue has been clarified and resolved through the assistance of your fellow adventurers. To confirm, the adventurer you wish to invite must be in your friends list and meet the Callback campaign requirements to be given the option to send them a Callback invite.
