    Cross-class was a poor man's version of taking a sub job in other FF games which only works if you have a job system that interacts with each other which it doesn't here. It could but it just doesn't.

    I think the more critical members of the playerbase might be more understanding if they were honest about why they change things. Especially in their patch notes.

    Cross class was a poor man's version of 1.0's job system, which was an unbalanced implementation of the job system from FFV.
