    Reaper and Immortal sacrifice

First of all, there's a tooltip error with soul slice saying it gives "soul sacrifice" stacks. Shouldn't it say "immortal sacrifice" since thats the stacks that plentiful harvest uses?

But my main point here is that reaper is pretty good, and fun to play, but losing all stacks of immortal sacrifice on death really hurts.

Could we just lose 1 or maybe 2 stacks?

Plentiful harvest is the reapers big burst tool on a one minute cookdown and requires 8 stacks of immortal sacrifice. Coupled with harvest moon, a fully powered plentiful harvest is an essential part of the reapers kit to help aoe burst at the right moment to help the team secure kills.

I think lowering the penalty to losing 1 or 2 stacks of soul sacrifice/immortal sacrifice on death would really help the reaper contribute more and affect the teams odds of winning when played correctly.

Reapers 1-2-3 combo not having a real use other than filler is also a little sad. Could we get some kind of effect on the third hit?

Maybe allow the third hit to generate a stack of immortal sacrifice/soul sacrifice?

If they take away some of their sustain, I'm okay with it. They're more survivable than warriors and death knights right now. That needs to take a hit.

That's not a fair comparison, because both warrior's and death knights do have MORE sustain, especially death knight. But being tanks, they don't have access to the escape tools that melee dps do. In this case, Reaper has Hell's Ingress which is a really great escape tool.

I'll give you that Warrior is not durable at all, but that's a Warrior issue and comparing Warrior to Reaper kind of misses the mark because (1) they're different roles and (2) Warrior is special in that its sustain requires dealing damage to heal - which is easily countered by all the crowd control that's in the game right now. Reaper doesn't have heals really and uses mitigation/shields which work better in this meta - plus as a melee dps, they have access to good escape tools. It's not really a fair comparison at all - unless you're arguing that tanks should have access to escape tools too.

But I agree, for Warrior, they should just fully revert the blood whetting nerf and give them back 20% health shield.

Death Knight is plenty sustainable... so I'm not sure why you brought that job up.

As for reaper, they're fine as they are sustain wise.

And while it really hurts to lose all stacks of immortal sacrifice on death, getting a buff on that front and losing mitigation on a reaper would be game breaking. There would be no point in playing a reaper at that point since other melee jobs, and ranged dps, have easier access to large burst and better limit breaks and also great sustain...

Reaper Burst is super slow because of the silly shit that is collecting eight stacks. Mnk suffers from this to a lesser extent due to the big button being locked behind six other presses. That said this isn't even the biggest problem with the job.
Imagine any other class having their Limit break struck down with a single OGCD. Not to mention the fact that the timer is so low on your stacks in enshroud you can barely get half of it used between CC and people scattering like roaches.
Communio is basically designed to get you killed.
Anyone who says Dark Knight(lol death knight huh?) is less survivable just doesn't know how to play it. You can't walk into the enemy team solo and survive indefinitely on anything but a paladin with a limit break and that is by design. Imagine a world where tanks got to do basically all the roles... never mind that's how wow pvp tanks work.

Well, let me rephrase then, because with high survivability comes lower dps (unless you're a ninja)

It doesn't "really hurt" though. Plentiful Harvest is a "fire and forget" skill you press on cooldown to get to your LB ASAP. If you manage to gain anything from it, it's usually by circumstantial luck. Compared with Crest, Hell's Ingress and LB, RPR barely relies on PH to be effective.

Eh I don't know about that. A 20k line aoe on a 60 sec timer sounds pretty significant.

I don't think it's a fair comparison at all because dk and wars don't have access to an escape tool. And both have access to healing that reapers don't.

So I'm not sure I'm seeing how this is a good comparison.

I don't mind collecting stacks, it's losing all 8 that really sucks. Maybe 1 or 2 or even 3. But to lose all 8 is really bad.

To be honest, I would lower the stacks necessary to achieve max damage, 8 stacks is asking a bit much even if I can consistently build to it. This makes it so it's not just a freebie for playing badly, you still have to work for those stacks.
But make no mistake, 8 stack PF is nothing to scoff at.
