I do and yes BLM builds significantly faster. BLM however does not completely remove the ability to use guard and isn't really bursty during their LB. WAR during LB can burst you down really fast if you do it right.
They can do one target at time. The power of BLM LB is that your aoe pressure on points goes up significantly especially with burn. That kind of pressure from war only comes from your team mates.
Unfortunately, war is just in a kind of bad place. I'd say white mage is a lot more threatening, survivable, and has just as much CC as war does at crucial junctures.
Orogeny and primal rend hit pretty hard during LB which is how you basically burst during LB. I'll get 2 or 3 kills out of comboing primal rend into orogeny if people are stacked, especially if people are low on HP. Fell cleave is just finishing off single targets with the onslaught debuff. They can do one target at time. WAR LB and BLM LB are two different types of pressure. It all comes down to how you utilize them. My main issue with WAR is the the fact that skills hurt you and you only have 1 defensive skill to really negate that barrier wise. If the HP loss wasn't applied or was reduced while bloodwhetting was up the job would be much much better.
