    WAR is absolute trash

    As the title says. Throw it away along with the entire PvP team. It makes absolutely no sense how easy it is to blow up a WAR. Especially since two of their moves help the opposing team to do so also..... Just why? Blood whetting doesn't help in the slightest with all the CC and lack of defensive options for WAR

    PvP has demoted from a game with any skill involved to doing rituals to the Old Ones for teammates that aren't utterly clueless.

    Class balance isn't even an afterthought, sadly.

    Been saying so from the start
    People that cuddle just find War op because of primal rend

    Blota is honestly REALLY good if used right but most Wars just play war because, same as whm, it's seen as op and nobody knows how to ACTUALLY play warrior

    Warrior is a disruptor that displaces people with blota and can protect people with primal rend, that's when bloodhwetting shines. When you crash into people that ARE NOT ON YOU

    They are NOT a tank, just as sage and sch are NOT healers
    But people continue to play warrior like a tank and not as somebody that pulls people out of line (or the crystal, you can do that and get an easy win in overtimes but shhhhhh) and disrupts, so...

    Yes, Warrior is garbage

    Its better now that bloodwhetting does 100% healing again, but ya I wish orogeny didn't take HP away when you use it. I really think the entire concept of using HP to use an attack is extremely idiotic design.

    In a mode with SO MUCH burst damage and CC it's beyond pants-on-head retarded to drain HP for skills UNLESS you get some form of invuln. DRK works for that reason, kinda. WAR doesn't.

    Maybe they can fully revert the nerf to bloodwhetting and increase the shield back to 20% health.

    I tried war for a few weeks after they buffed blood whetting back up, and it felt okay. But once you start playing better players who can coordinate bursts and cc, war just gets shut down.

    I switched to reaper, and I'm having a lot more fun. Reaper has a few issues too, but overall, I feel their kit works better.

    Orogeny and onslaught costing health doesn't make sense imo.

    We'll see what they do next balance update.

    You'll have to play hit and run and stay close with your teammates. Only stay in when you can anticipate you wont take massive burst damage.

    Otherwise, just initiate, retreat, and peel.

    Definitely. If they don't remove the HP cost for Orogeny and onslaught, they could at least make them work with BW. Also until they do something about all the CC in general, I'm just going to stop playing melee (unless I'm doing Frontline since they're tanky as heck in there lol). It's sad when a tank can't be a tank because of it and other bad designs.

    I think the problem with Warrior is that they depend so heavily on dealing damage to sustain themselves. Not only does CC counter their sustain, but any form of shields or mitigation from the enemy also counters their sustain. Which is fine, if they had stronger shields.

    Pile on the cost of Orogeny and Onslaught, and a bad situation is made even worse.

    It seems like the intended design is to use Blood Whetting for aoe heals to offset the cost of orogeny, but the problem becomes just that - the warrior's self-sustain ability is used to offset damage HE DEALS TO HIMSELF instead of damage sustained from the enemy.

    It's a bit better now that they increased the healing back to 100%, but tbh, it's not enough.
