How does one flag themselves as seeking party?
Also, everyone tells me the party search feature is a barren wasteland of usefulness. Why don't more people flag if people can /sea now?

1. The people who have been around long enough to know about it probably have all battle classes to 50 already and have no need to seek for a party.
2. The people who are new and need to level are probably much like yourself and do not know the feature even exists or if they do, they don't know how to use it.

Yeah I'm just getting back from a year break and I thought leveling would be a real hard grind, but I have found that leve's are pretty cake now. Everyone pretty much says "leve till 40 then do SB's" I guess I'm ok with that, though I do wish there was more grouping rewards earlier on for most people because that's always whats made it fun for me.1. In the Search menu, click on the rectangle on top and use the drop-down menus to change your status and preferred classes. You can also leave a note, like what you want/are willing to do.
Because they don't exactly make it easy to find. I mean hell even you're wondering how to do it, so how many others out there have the same problem?
Open your main menu, select the 'Search' sub-menu. Then at the very top you'll see a bracket with your current job and rank. Click on it. Set your status to SEEKING and then select the job you wish to level. So even if you want to do some crafting, people who are looking for people to invite will see you are interested and on what job and level.

Yeah. It was pretty deep in menu's in XI that's for sure. Not too different here, it just seems like most people don't want to party and I'm seeing why honestly. It is a cool feature that I'll use from this point on, but I just wonder who else is using it. Maybe it'll be a good way to be asked to come PL peeps :PBecause they don't exactly make it easy to find.
