FFXIV Crafting causing YouTube Videos to stutter in Chrome

This is an odd one...

1) Start FFXIV and log in a char
2) Start Chrome and start a YouTube Music Video (it plays fine at this point)
3) Open the crafting window and start crafting something

Every time the "Tink Tink Tink" sounds and the CP drops, the music video hitches. Every time.

If I close Chrome and start it again and start a video it plays fine till I craft something and it starts hitching again.

It is repeatable every time...

It does NOT happen when playing a YouTube Music Video in Edge (this could be wrong. The timing is far enough apart between the crafting and the hitch that I can't be sure)...

EDIT: I can run Dungeons, Trials, cast spells, log/mine ect and this does NOT happen. ONLY during crafting.

EDIT: More info. It also happens if someone else is crafting near me...

I will keep posting more info as I find more out about the issue.

FFXIV, Microsoft, and Chrome will probably have to all put their heads together to figure this one out...

That kind of inter-company bug hunting is expensive, and therefore very unlikely to happen for a bug with such limited consequences.

I don't use Chrome, but I suggest seeing if there is a HW Acceleration option for videos in Chrome, and turning it off if there is.

A few things.

Are you using two monitors? Does youtube lag when you have chrome focused instead of the game? If you are using two monitors do the Hz on both of them match? (Like one isn't 120hz and the other is 60?). FFXIV doesn't really like when the monitors refresh rates don't match.

Since it doesn't do it in edge I would check googles settings for hardware acceleration. If its on, try turning it off and see if that fixes it.
