+New Game - Design Idea. "Post Win" dialog and re-edit scenes.

Normally, I would never redo storylines or create another character to replay games of this nature. After all, it took me years to get where I'm at now.

However, I might be tempted to create a "+New Game" character and "replay" critical scene and story lines, IF and ONLY IF, the game dialog and scene changes to incorporate my main character's achievement and people speak and acknowledge them. Heck, throw in a statue, painting, bard's song, etc.

To go even further, imagine an "echo" battle where my new character play by a PC controlled main character and we both fight certain battles.

As a practical level. Boosted EXP to redo OLD content.

I'm not sure what you are asking for. Are you saying you want a NG+ mode where people acknowledge your character's accomplishments before they actually happen?

I'll echo this. New Game Plus is just a quest replay system, and it's putting you back to the time in the story where those events happened the first time. The other characters can't know or acknowledge your future achievements.

Even in games where NG+ is more worthy of the name as a complete reset with carryover bonuses, the story is usually reset and characters don't treat you any different to the first time around, because to them this is your first time around.

New Game + will only reference class related things if the story already went and did that.

So if you leveled Dragoon and then replayed the story, certain scenes would reference that in New Game +.

But they aren't going to go in and add additional references but only for those who do it through New Game +.

This would make it so no one does dungeon roulettes anymore since the fastest way to level is through the MSQ.
