If he really wants make the "ultimate mmorpg" (as he said many time) they need regional server, they're a standard in every game even lolf2p. SE is investing so much in this project... so why don't implement them? And i remember that he said that they were not sure if implement regional servers, they never said 100% No. And btw a lot of time is passed since those old infos... It's time for confirmation no? Even about the new combat system.. We know nothing. But interviews prefers to ask if there will be x360 version.. let's solve first the tecnical issues before no?

...What new combat system? Outside of new classes, animations, whatever they're doing with BR, and chocobos popping in, what you see now is what you get.

Nothing wrong with making a FFMMO that ties all the FF games together, I find it quite Fascinating =). As long as the lore of it all makes since with it, then I'm all for it actually. !

I wish you would think about it better before jumping to conclusions. Think about the FFIII crystal tower that will be implemented, huge fan service, think about all the FF-feel he's bringing to the title, the summons, jobs, relic gear and weapons, chocobo breeding, etc, all fan service. No more, no less.

People misinterpret Fan service quite a lot.

Fan service- Take the best things that had the most reception and incorporate into said project.

Taking things here and there ( IE: Crystal tower, Odin, etc) there is nothing wrong with it at all.

If you think its wrong, then putting in Chocobos/Airships/Summons Shouldn;t be in their either because it's "Fan service". Don't give me the it's a FF Staple c**p, because no matter how you put it, it's still a fan service of some sort, because the "Fans" love Chocobos/Airships/Summons etc. Mandies/Couerl's. Aplukka's (sp?)... Point is, people tend to use Fan service it further make the point to put the idea in a bad way.

Anyways, Showing off a girl Chest SE likes to do with their offline FF titles, "That's true Fan Service", What Yoshida is doing is a good thing, Bringing all the FF games together (practically) is something no FF game has done, and I admire the idea, ( As long as the lore make since with world lore. Then I'm all for it.

Anything can make sense with the falling of Dalamud, it's a Deus ex Machina lol. Pulse=Dalamud being held up by the life energy of the planet Hydaelyn. Ivalice could be a newly discovered continent revealed from the influence of Dalamud on the planet. The possibilities are pretty much limitless it comes down to what the community wants to see and everything they can do to make this feel like an FF game rather then a game with the FF title on it.
