If we end up with 'Viera' as a race, please employ the same audio techniques (or actors) used in FFXII for their vocals. They were superb.

Please stop.
i disagree, since the voice acting in ff12 is all rather terrible, Fran especially. I do like the idea behind their speech patterns, but... a bit greater quality of voice performance would be needed to make it truly work how it should.
I respectfully disagree! but also respect your opinion!!!![]()

Its the sound of the voices .. not the dialogue that needs to be retained. That's what I was referring to.
I actually liked the dialogue in FFXII, but I don't think its the best fit in FFXIV. (although, listening to some NPCs makes me reconsider...)
Yes that would be hillarious if every Viera I came across sounded like a droll robot. Would make me feel better having to live with them if I could pretend they were just that.
Up next:
In the fallout after the vote... The Anti-Viera campaign is alleging that the Viera supporters outspent their organization by nearly 8 to 1.
It's ok. I find that their voices aren't deep enough. Always imagined them to have a deeper, noble voice.
Also, in one of the articles someone recently posted, Yoshi plans on bringing elements from other FF's and Ivalice was noted. Viera could actually make its presence in this game after all.
XII Vieras had one of the most adorable accents in any video game ever.
