There's a Japanese radio show called "From Eorzea with Love" hosted by Krile's JP actress that Yoshi-P and Soken made guest appearances on. During it, Yoshi-P said that the planning for 7.0's story is done and Krile will have an active role for the expansion. Also, she might get a new outfit.

That will be cool to see. She is by far the most underused Scion, and it would be nice if she had a bit more development like the others.

It'll be nice to see Krile actually do something, given she was introduced in 3.X, spent all of 4.0 as a Garlean POW, 5.0 keeping the Scions' bodies warm while we were on the First, and did little more in 6.0 than pave the way for our entry to Sharlayan. (Went with us to Zot, Hydaelyn's mouthpiece, brokered the deal with Zenos, yadda yadda.)

We haven't seen Krile fight since the Warring Triad quests. I don't even remember what her job was. (I want to say conjurer?)

Maybe we can bring some more of the secondary cast along this time. Bring Krile, Coultenet, and the Boulder brothers, and we've got enough for trust parties.

She's a conjurer. And she barely fights in the Tower of Zot.

My dream lineup for the 7.0 Trust squad definitely includes Krile as our healer and Zero in the DPS. Not sure yet exactly how I'd want to fill the rest; I feel like we can't get away from bringing G'raha along, so maybe him and a total new person who's not one of the Scions' usual races. Maybe a roegadyn.

They also mentioned Thancred was going to have some import in 6.x...but given that he's totally absent from the void storyline thus far, I'm wondering if that's going to be limited strictly to 6.5.

He did mention he was doing recon work in Ilsabard for some purpose he didn't really elaborate on, so perhaps that's hinting at something to come...?

Even though Galuf Baldesion is already dead, Krile taking center stage screams of a male cast member slot being replaced due to her being an FFV reference. Makes me wonder if they'll have Thancred sacrifice himself between now and 7.0 or sometime early in 7.0.

Course. if they don't wanna slot in a new tank, then it's be Urianger doing the sacrifice.

Maybe they're gonna give Golbez Exdeath's role in this? Hmm...

Oh no, please not thancred. If she has to replace one member, let it be urianger. Doesn't even need to permanently kill him, put him on the moon to help the lopporits and garlean there. We already have several "scholars" anyway (urianger, g'raha, y'sthola, alphinaud), we don't need one more.

Krile joining us in the main party in no way necessitates another character dying. Alphinaud didn't die when Alisaie took his spot in Stormblood.
