    Summoner primal summons too flashy?

It has been quite a while since the new summoner was released but I didn't see any discussions about this specific part, the effects when summoning primals.

Maybe it's just me (since I work in IT and stare at the screens all day), but the effects are just too flashy. I should clarify that I have no issues with flashes in general (cutscenes, boss fights, etc.), but the summons are simply too often, making them flash you almost every minute.
Even the WHM Holy falls in comparison to a Titans whole yellow screen.

I used to main summoner before, and I know some quit the job because of the rework, but for me it was the flashy summons.
Yes, I know I can turn off the effects, but then all I'm doing is swinging my hands around like a maniac.

I would really love if there was an option to disable just the primals effects (I'm looking at you Titan and Ifrit). Or if possible to tone down the effects in some future patch (preferably with the pet size to reduce the effect size too?).

Anyone else got opinions about this, or is it just me

I love my big primals but the brightness does bother me, toning it down would do a lot of good.

    see:

for simplicity, this will adjust all summons (both yours and others) to small size:
    /petsize all small

PS: adjusting just "flashy effect" would mean to lower flashiness of all your actions in character menu, cant adjust only pet actions AFAIK

The pet size is not the issue, I only suggested changing the effect size with the pet, as a "scale one, scale the other" option. I always have the pets on small, so having a smaller effect around them, instead of the whole screen, would make sense imo.

Yeah sadly it is just a tad too much. I really like flashy because it adds a lot of impact and makes the game way more fun when skills look and feel fun to use, but especially when you're in a roulette with 4 SMNs, it can be impossible to see mechanics sometimes and turning down animations is not the answer to fun.

I love the big flashy bright effects. All of our other spells are very muted in comparison. Summoning a rock or a little green wind effect doesn't bring much in the way of a "wow factor".

So they rolled that into summoning literal gods.

Yes it's definitely too flashy. It's been noticed ever since the job debuted at the start of Endwalker. It covers up mechanics and is a massive distraction in raids.

That's not actually covering up any mechanics though. You can very clearly see the lines and colours through the spell effect.

Ah yes smn strenghts and flaws of raid. They should make it less flashy but same time feel awesome.

A flash grenade only makes the room bright for a few miliseconds, but the effect of them can easily last several seconds after that. Thats how it can disrupt vision (and therefor mechanics).

And it differs a lot per player on how flashy it has to be to become disruptive. Yet there is nothing you can do to get around it. Even if the flash isnt blinding, it can be enough to make your brain struggle to notice contrast changes.

(and yes, a flash grenade is the excessive case, but flashy effects still behave in a similar way)
