Free Company Subaquatic Voyages not dropping Balsa Wood Scrap

Me and a couple of friends started a Free Company, we levelled it up, bought a house for the FC and build the Workshop.

We made a submarine and have ben sending it on Subaquatic Voyages for a few weeks. We just turned lvl 46 with the submarine but we haven't had a single Balsa Wood Scrap, or Balsa Wood Lumber drop. Not a single one.

At first I thought we were just very unlucky, as we got Bamboo Weave. But since we're not actually lvl 46, and there's still nothing, we must be doing something wrong?

I've been sending the submarine to The Umbrella Narrow, Offender's Rot, Neolith Island, The Cobalt Shoals, The Mystic Basin, and Komura.

I've had a big bunch of materia drop, deep green clusters, deep red crystals, bamboo weave, deep blue crystals, crimson coral, empty crystals, Red Moko Grass, Raw Celestine, several kinds of branches. About everything *but* Balsa Wood Scrap and Balsa Wood Lumber.

How come? I just don't seem to get this, there must be something i'm overlooking. Since we never had any drop, our submarine is just Shark-class. It's lvl 46 at this point. We often get Rating A, with 400k+ exp gained per report.

You aren't missing anything. What you get for loot is pure RNG, you've just been unlucky. If you want more help with subs you can use this thread

Also, at the bottom of the second post is a link to the Sub discord which has a lot more info on it. Someone there may be able to trade/sell you some left over balsa scrap they have.
