Release 2.0 on the WII U!

I want to play this game on console. I do not own a PS3, but will be owning a a wii u. The specs can handle it.

Now imagine what we get on the TV is just a clean uncluttered display. On the game pad our action bar, the menu, gear window, etc. This would look so beautiful having all that stuff out of the way on the TV/Monitor, and put onto the game pad.

SE PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN

they are releasing DQX on the wii u. I hope they release 2.0 on it

It makes sense to bring the game to the Wii-U, a new generation starts next year if the press is to be believed, both MS and Sony will be gearing up to show off the nextbox and PS4.

I would sooner play an MMO on a Wii-U controller than a PS3 pad thats for sure, especially if they designed the game to take advantage of the touch screen.

Firstly, you don't know if the Wii-U can handle it or not.

Secondly, that can be done with PC just as easily. I play all my PC games on my bed for instance. I have no desk, whatsoever.

and about that wii u.... you DO know that the wii u doesn't have a harddisk do you, right?

Wii-U is getting an external HDD just like the Wii did, you do know the DQX is coming to both systems and is an MMO right ?

that would require either the Wii U being able to use a keyboard and mouse or a COMPLETE revamp of the entire control scheme to suit the Wii

I think they need to continue fixing the game before releasing it on more than just the PS3

Only needs keyboard support really, I'm sure the Wii-U will have that anyway, besides you could probably use the touch screen as a virtual keyboard amongst other things.

I have my pc connected to my led/lcd 26 in tv and it's damn good honestly mushy most lcd monitors can be tvs to begin with because it uses the same tech... you know how i know I used to work for Philips as a technical support agent and quite frankly not just "nerds" connect their tv to their pc because I got a lot of calls on what the refresh rate and aspect ratio was supposed to be on their computer when they it connected to the television and as a matter of fact a lot of the lcd tv's come with a dvi or even vga connection for a pc setting. second Yumi is right unless they bring out a connectable hard drive like they did with the ps2 and you're willing to shell out that money don't think about being able to play it on the wii u it's just not feasible at this time

Y'know, I toned down my post because I felt right after I pressed the send button the response was deserved. But now that you've decided to claim it's something only a "basement dwelling nerd" does, well you're definitely a douche.

Well thats the second time on the first page someone assumed I had a crappy computer, and a video card with no hdmi out, then you topped it off with calling me an idiot because I don't want wires all over the place. and besides I already have a micro pc case connected to my tv running a *nix media center, with wireless remote. so stop assuming cuz you know what they say

This could also provide an easier way than ps3 to be able to communicate. You would be able to type on the gamepad, or if voice chat is ever added it has built in microphone. I just think the games a good fit on the wii u. FFXI and eventually FFXIV are supposed to be about numerous systems, regions all on the same servers. You know it was originally going to be for both ps3 AND 360, but microsofts live policy made it not happen. The game is designed with cross platform in mind, and for all we know the new engine even more so
