I'm not so sure about that. During the final role quest of Shadowbringers, Taynor, one of the childhood friends of Nyelbert (the mage WoL from the first) keep saying that Unukalhai feels really familiar.
It's heavily implied that Unukalhai is a shard of Nyelbert (or of Taynor himself, but the wording of his dialogue fits more with Nyelbert).
