    I'd like for Golbez to be our shard, and for Zero to stay with the group for several expansions afterwards. Not only would it give us somebody new and interesting, there's the fact that if they're going to do a Zeromus, I'd prefer for it to be after a few expansions when it would hit really hard.

    I just wish she was still in the shape she had before. Seriously, I can't take any more cute and cuddly characters, it was the chance to finally have a long interaction with a character out of the box

    Id like her to be more interesting.
    Maybe Im weird, but I dont find her that interesting right now. Maybe later if/when she develops more....or does more.

    It would make more sense. I did want Zenos' avatar to be the shard prior to 6.2, but after seeing the direction they are going with Zero, it wouldn't really fit anymore. Golbez being the shard, while not following FFIV directly, would tie him to the protagonist [the WoL] in FFXIV with the same magnitude. If they went full on FFIV, and flip the script on Zero and Golbez, it would be a little predictable, but can still be a good story if they are mindful with its development.

    Given that Zero is only half voidsent, maybe the two halves of her get split and without the good side to keep it in check the voidsent half grows into Zeromus.

    Kinda hoping Zero dies, Golbez dies (and is absorbed if he should be the WoL's shard), and we get an opportunity to feed whatever is left of Hydaelyn's essence to the Cloud of Darkness so her taint is forever banished from Etheirys.
