I don't have much faith in the writing being super surprising at this point.

There is the foreshadowing that when a voidsent eats someone the personality can mess them up so perhaps it could be Zero consuming Golbez, becoming unstable, and as result Zeromus.

It's heavily implied that Unukalhai is a shard of Nyelbert (or of Taynor himself, but the wording of his dialogue fits more with Nyelbert).

Haven't seen that quest yet. It just made sense that Elidibus would save part of our soul for some reason. After visiting 13th anything is possible, even Golbez could be part of us. Who knows.
