Island Sanctuary.... idea?

Like many others, I've found myself a bit surprised at the final outcome of Island Sanctuary. After spending a decent amount of time on my island, I find myself wondering if the majority of community will stay as engaged in its content past the first few weeks. It's absolutely beautiful and can see that the gposers, RPrs and eRPrs rarely leaving but they aren't there to engage in it's content. (from what I've heard.. there are queues to enter your island on Balmung, but we all know what Balmung is known for )
Anyhow, I want to be on my island... but need to actually be doing something other than gathering the same few materials over and over and over only to have a surplus to spend on uninteresting items with green crowies - everything else bottlenecks on workshop timers. Harvesting, feeding, scheduling, and planting only take a couple minutes each which can only be done 1-2 times per day. Some ideas:
Allow visitors to gather with you! It's far more interesting with company and doesn't feel boring.
Allow us a building system, to actually build ourselves. Yes, I know that this isn't supposed to be a housing concept but we all know that housing supply is severly lacking with no solution in sight. But maybe just being able to build beautiful structures on a beautiful island is a huge dream of many! It's probably that people want a house but they don't want to decorate it... this will fulfill that desire for a "house" but the focus is the structure and not interior. Require the cost of building materials to either gather for base materials and use green crowies on more specialized building items.
Cherry on top: most have asked for glamour dressers in their houses/apartments/FC house/FC rooms... and it's been anounced that this isn't possible due to "instances" and the need to be in an instanced area such as inn rooms or GC squad room. The islands are instanced, yes? Why not make the glamour dresser available on the island? But only after achieving the nearly impossible goal like so many other "WOW" items. This will even engage the RP/eRP/poser community to partake in the island's content.

Anyhow, I doubt this will actually get seen but felt to throw out the ideas just in case. This is my first post on the forums so please be kind.
