Thread: Release 2.0 on the WII U!

I want to play this game on console. I do not own a PS3, but will be owning a a wii u. The specs can handle it.

Now imagine what we get on the TV is just a clean uncluttered display. On the game pad our action bar, the menu, gear window, etc. This would look so beautiful having all that stuff out of the way on the TV/Monitor, and put onto the game pad.

SE PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN


This thread is specifically about the wii-u and its controller running FFXIV, not a computer connected to your tv.

they are releasing DQX on the wii u. I hope they release 2.0 on it

This could also provide an easier way than ps3 to be able to communicate. You would be able to type on the gamepad, or if voice chat is ever added it has built in microphone. I just think the games a good fit on the wii u. FFXI and eventually FFXIV are supposed to be about numerous systems, regions all on the same servers. You know it was originally going to be for both ps3 AND 360, but microsofts live policy made it not happen. The game is designed with cross platform in mind, and for all we know the new engine even more so

While this sounds like an amazing idea I have yet to see the specs on the WiiU and would assume that it is not as powerful as a PS3, it's going to be bad enough if later down the line we can't have something because of "PS3 limitations" I def don't wanna hear "WiiU limitations"

that would require either the Wii U being able to use a keyboard and mouse or a COMPLETE revamp of the entire control scheme to suit the Wii

I think they need to continue fixing the game before releasing it on more than just the PS3
