Highland/Alpine partitions: the bare minimum.

To you, perhaps. I really enjoy the wooden arched designs built into the Empyreum walls and its silly we can't utilize them more because SE decided not to add partitions and such for the new district into the game.

One of the reasons they are not doing it anymore is probably because they believe, everyone uses nothing but marble partitions.
"Hey, we got new window partitions for you". They only match marble partitions.
"Hey, we got new partition-integrated shelves for you". They only match marble partitions.
"Hey, we got new curved partitions für you!". Guess which partitions those are matching.

By the time they deliver the basics for Ishgard Housing, those will probably somehow only match marble partitions as well xD.

1000000% the reason i haven't really decorated my fc's large that we were so excited about getting. I wanted to make it really fancy and do different rooms and right now its just like open bc i cannot bring myself to use another style partition, the wood doesn't match!!! And as you say if i used another partition for now, i'd have to just redo it all when we do eventually (hopefully) get the right ones and I do a lot of glitching so it seems like too much work to do it and then redo it later ><

in all seriousness, I don't understand the devs. It feels like they throw random, mostly useless furniture in with each patch rather than make furniture sets like kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms etc. Instead, we get one cool looking piece that matches nothing else.

there's amazing furniture sitting around in the game unused & will be like that for a long time- whoever is in charge of housing at ffxiv doesn't check anything regarding requests, just "oh contest stuff needs to be added" and then logs off

I'm still waiting for more Thavnair furniture for my house & I have an apartment sitting in Ishgard waiting to be decorated once more Ishgard assets are released

As far as Ishgard goes, at the inn the wood floor is aged & uneven & I LOVE it. I want to use it
and the amazing pillars- why are the ishgard pillars so amazing? because they're small & look like distressed wood- Almost all of the other pillars we have are way too big- so the Ishgard ones I get why people are frustrated
It's housing stuff, much of the additions given to us later to match older sets don't match at all. (looking at you marble sets) --- (also, looking at you round stained glass window) the round stained glass window doesn't have the beautiful blue glow that the others have

some of the marble furniture doesn't even match the originals
I for one, HATE the marble furniture - anymore when furniture is added I don't even bother because I know likely, it's another marble furniture set I won't use

They added this, which is really nice and suits for tavern designs BUT pray tell with what should I match it with if I wanted to make a counter with it..?
To think that this exact piece is available in The Firmament... but complete with corner counter and all!

Damn, I didn't know, that looks cool! Now why can't the devs focus on implementing proper stuff in the game instead of (as someone said) the stupid contest winners.
