There's so much furniture sitting in Ishgard unused.
The assets are there, they're coded, please let us use them.

Exactly! I don't see why they don't release all furnishing assets, even if it's in staggered stages and even if you have to buy them from a housing merchant so they don't have to come up with crafting recipes. I'm an omni-gatherer/crafter and prefer to make my own stuff from scratch, but I'd be willing to spend the Gil to buy items that I'd need to complete a theme or look.
