While I agree this should be a feature.. half of our forum problems would be over if people could just NOT post on troll threads.

But Krotoan, what else would I do at 3am when suffering from insomnia besides add overly-wordy posts to whatever active thread drifts onto General Discussion's front page? :'(

Whoa, now that's just crazy talk. We all know moderators are mythical creatures, just like unicorns and affordable housing; they don't really exist.

Also, what is the point of 3,000 letter limit in posting when you can just edit to add more?

People edit posts to bypass that limit and post unreasonably long things? Who would do that? *nervous smile, cartoonish sweat-drop while edging away towards the exit*
