This actually helps a lot! Thanks. I feared playing some classes due to their button bloat fame(I have some health issues and its difficult for me), but it turns out they have less buttons than the classes I already play.

It doens't have to do with the number of buttons, but rather the clunkiness of some abilities (Sight) and irrelevance of others (Life Surge), and the fact that the job needs a rework in order to be able to be expanded in the future. It's a complete stale and job with only a few fixes left to make, deadset rotation, and pretty much no room to expand upon due to it's already many ogcds.

Might be cause you're technically pressing less buttons?
Admittedly, I haven't played Reaper since levelling it, but I recall that it had about 5 or 6 dedicated AOE buttons, which I found generally awkward to get used to.
I think Dragoon on the other hand, outside of the AOE 1,2,3 combo, uses all of it's other AOE skills in it's regular rotation.

Probably because most of rpr ogcd and timer tracking functions off of a resource bar. Drg has many different cds to track regularly to not drift or lose uses.
