    Didn't they mention at the tail end of the plot for 6.0 that someday new life will spring forth from the rotting detritus amongst Ultima Thule? It's most likely that. The first signs and buds of new life.

    Granted, I don't expect anything to come of it within our lifetime. Stars don't manifest and host novel and unique lifeforms within a fortnight.

    We'll see that right after we see the Empty restored on the First, or Unukalhai and Cyella's efforts to restore the Void, or the aether returning life to the Burn.
