New Game + is in desperate need of rewards

I would 100% level an alt job via new game+ if it had EXP and would probably enjoy it. I'm sick of roulettes and avoid them.

However it doesn't, so I haven't touched the feature so far.

I know it's unpopular for a lot of people, but I play this game as basically a single-player game, and so when I'm leveling alt jobs, it means that I'm basically just doing trusts/squadrons/other solo content. And almost none of that is story-based. Which sucks, because I love playing stories. With how many options there are for leveling solo, it seems odd that new game+ is the line in the sand. Make it give only 50% of the xp as usual, to make it inline with other solo leveling options.

I don't want mounts or minions. But I do want exp, because I would much rather replay the story again and again with different classes than sit in Palace of the Dead for 3 years straight.

It would also be nice if we could get some of the armor we get from playing through the story because if your main is a caster and now you level melee, you now have to either be severely undergeared or spend a ton of Gil on gear and I'd always choose staying undergeared over spending Gil unless I can't finish the content.

OP just stop. New Game + is for whoever wants to do it.

There's no need to add rewards for it as that wasnt its purpose. Dont wowify this game any further...

The only gain I'd accept from new game + is achivements.
Let us start the story as if we started in another city, as another class we have unlocked, and do the game from the point of view of another town.... and maybe get those achivements.

This is also kind of annoying that you are forced to start in your starter city. What if people want to know what happened in the other city states? I remember wanting to do New Game plus with a friend who hadn't played the game before but they started in Limsa and my home city is Gridania, so I can't actually play with them until we get an airship. That is really lame.

They should just have NG+ give poetics. It's the most equitable solution.

Man, I remember large swaths of people, myself included, asking for new game + with no rewards and almost no one piping up to say they want it rewards. First week of release and out of the woodwork, new game + is a problem because it has no rewards and up to this day, the complaints keep coming?

It's incredibly easy to miss random threads on the forum and elsewhere, even for those who spend a decent chunk of time online.
