Players that go AFK in Island Sanctuary is a Problem

I know there are many players working on their Island Sanctuary since it's release, but those that decide to AFK on a mount and are kicked out after 30 mins is a problem.

Problem being is those that go afk mounted, sometimes on HUGE mounts then covering the NPC and most players, in Moraby Drydocks. I know, I know you can simply use your shortcut function key to target interactive objects/NPCs, but it's still annoying to have these mounts clustered there.

Might want to do a set up like you did with this years Moonfire Faire where it auto dismounts players that are kicked out on these mounts from Island Sanctuary.

Forced dismount, or another option is just to move the spawn point away from NPCs. Then the players will just clump up harmlessly.

Yeah I didn't think about all the buildings in your instance, force dismounts.

Or you could use the common sense solution on pc and not have to complain. Hit X, hides players nameplates, see the npc...Other platforms use whatever key.

There's also the default 'target/interact with nearest object/NPC' (unsure of the exact name of the bind; I'm not in-game right now) which for a PC is NumPad 0 by default. Get near NPC/object, press 0 twice, done and done.

@OP: Yes I know this doesn't fix the aesthetic problem, but it's a surefire solution for getting on with your gaming.

In PS there's target filters so you don't target PCs.

I like how some people don't read what you typed and comment anyway.

Yeah, yeah I know all about the shortcuts and command key functions to bypass and interact. Nameplates isn't the problem or interacting with NPC.

    /rolleyes (damn didn't work here)

There is one in pc version also. I do not see any player names except those on friends and whomever I am in a party with (just their initials). Way less clutter on screen

OR ppl could not AFK in an instance....

For you information, my default selection is set so ill always target the npc/object first so for me it doesnt really matter, its just annoying - especially on whales etc..
