How many hours I'm looking at for the Pternadon Mount from Diadem?

Not as many as when they launched that area. The higher item level crafting gear has made the expert recipes a lot easier. You'll probably spend a larger chunk of time just harvesting all the goods.

When it was current, around 700-800 hours depending on your skill with expert. Now, prolly half that. If you go for it, good luck but don't try to grind grind grind.

The crafting side is much easier now. You should be able to hit max rating consistently using most current pentamelded gear and a macro.

It's the gathering side that I'm uncertain of since I don't know how the changes made this expansion affected the gathering yields in Diadem. It took me about 350 hours to get the 3 gathering jobs done last expansion (boring as heck, and making me think twice about grinding this on my alts). I keep telling myself I should drop in to test... then think of lots of other things I'd rather be doing.

If you're going to do it, start with the gathering since you're going to have to gather the mats anyways so it would be wasteful to buy them off the MB.

Alrighty so from someone who's near finishing the grind right now, I can give you some somewhat up to date information.

Crafters you can get around 45-50k per hour with macros. So you're looking at around 80-90 hours ish for all the crafters.
Gatherers take quite some time however. Miner/Botanist you get around 7-8k per hour depending how sweaty you want to grind. Fisher isn't as bad with around 10-15k per hour (very RNG based for fish). So for gathering you're looking around 160 hours by using the higher averages.

I don't like to think about hours, unless I'm getting paid for something. My mind is more on the approach: I do full loops on one of the gatherers and hit all 4 elements. Come back another time for the other gatherer. Work on one crafter for a couple of sessions. Repeat. At some point, I have to work fishing in there.

Been doing little every week since came out, no where near finishing but past point of no return.... I honestly think its not worth the time. Worst thing is most who have it used bots.
