    Can anybody tell me where it's been said that these screenshots are showing the game with max settings? Because I'm pretty sure (100% positive actually) that Square-Enix has posted screenshots before without things such as Depth of Field, High Shadows, etc.

    These are literally our first glimpse of the new game. Tone down the butthurt for a second and enjoy the magic.

    Seriously so do I, you look at those screens and you can smell the air, our textures right now
    may be full of polygons but the color is saturated and not as natural as 2.0 and our current shadows are terrible. I turned them on last night and then remembered why I keep them at low......

    Bring on the atmosphere!
