New Player Tutorial Issue

Hello! I just started the game and my main character. However, after first entering Ul'Dahn (?) there's an issue. I get the pop-up showing how to move around, but nothing after. There's a person on the side with a quest icon, but when I right-click him it only highlights him and nothing else. I can't run past a certain range or he says something like, "Come on, give me a chance!"

I'm literally stuck here right off the wagon and can't do anything. Anyone know of any issues?

I'm on the Midgardsomr server. I play on a Mac if that matters.

Edit: I tried submitting this as a ticket over a week ago and haven't heard back. I'm really not sure how the system works on this.

Bumping this if anyone can help. It's my wife's account. My PC account so far has had no issues on the same network.

Right click him again after right click him. You don't just want to just select him. You want to talk to him. There's also a keyboard button for this. Afair by default it's NumPad 0.

Try deleting your char folder (not uninstalling). When you right click an NPC their quest box should show up automatically, so something might've corrupted your char files.

That's a good suggestion as she was doing some single-clicks originally. I have tried that though for her and it doesn't do anything except highlight him.

We'll try that as well, thanks! We've done a reinstall and didn't work but if that is the case it might not have fully replaced it.
