Can we please have better Glamour?

That's always the case. They could add 20 sets like that and people like OP would be seething if there was another set with jeans.

I have to say I'm loving the 6.2 style. I have a tendency to glam over things with the "offensive / immersion breaking" style, but I actually found a whole set I'm probably going to leave alone (crafted aiming).

They really do have a strange obsession with attaching a bunch of random clutter to otherwise decent pieces, usually around/below the waste.

I agree. It's a little weird. I think it's for the sake of some level of realism. (see: survival shirt vs. extreme survival)

These are all restricted to certain classes, and frankly, Some of them are rather immersion breaking. Let me just walk around town with this giant fire back-halo like nothing is out of the norm. The equipment in question are casual wear, something a normal person would wear, not the chosen one mary sue.

But I don't talk about Gear Sets, it was about Glamour Sets Level 1. By the way the new Raid Gear ... ugly like hell. That glowing Circle on the back makes no sense, it is not even attached to the Gear, it floats on the back. For what?

It would be nice to have a couple more casual fantasy glams. I found the happiness and wayfarers sets to be refreshing. Modern sets are fine but its nice to have a little variety every now and then. Or maybe let us wear DOH/DOL gear on our combat jobs? It would would give me a reason to level more of them.

Also I really want the gleaners outfit.

Final Fantasy has mixed themes in many of their games, I think it fits just fine especially when you view FF as a multiverse (cross-over events, and all)

You're playing a Final Fantasy game. This isn't your stereotypical middle ages European boring WoW game. Final Fantasy was never restricted to a single setting and modern clothing have been a staple since the 90s. Stop whining about the game you're playing not being the game you want to play and try to ruin it for the people who actually know what kind of game Final Fantasy is and bought it for that specific purpose

Tell me how does Fit a Sport Bra, B2 Heels and all other skimpy Outfits into this Fantasy World?
Have you seen 1 NPC who wears those Outfits that 99% of all Female Miqo'te, Female Viera and Female Au Ra wear? Even Male Chars wears that.
And none asked to remove those Glamour. I asked for better Glamour that fits into this World. Even if other Final Fantasy Games has those ugly skimpy modern Outfits, this here is still Final Fantasy 14 and not "the other Games".
For a change, SE can also think of the people who don't want to wear those ugly modern outfits.

And yet modern fashion is used regularly in FF XIV alongside many, many other styles. So basically, your average FF title. Would I like less modern fashion added in the future? Yeah, definitely. But I'm not opposed to having more options even if I don't like them.
