I don't know if SE even looks at these threads but this seems like a simple fix to bring a massive QOL improvement to NG+. Right now, let's be honest, there is barely a viable way to level up another job. The whole premise of FFXIV is the story and being able to do any job on the same character but leveling another job is a grueling, brutal slog. All they would have to do is to remove the code that restricts the exp but leave the other restrictions in place, that way you could experience the story again, the main draw of FFXIV, and still have to do dungeons/market board for gear since there would be no quest rewards aside from the exp. I'm honestly surprised this wasn't done from the beginning with NG+ because telling people to just create a whole new character to play through the story again with a different job kind of goes against the entire design premise of FFXIV, IMO.
Me for example, I have a Paly in Dawntrail but I really want to play Viper, but we all know the queue for DPS is brutal. Viper starts at 80 so you can't even play Dawntrail content yet but they expect you to just dungeon grind 10 levels, which as DPS could take a while, or use the Trust system which is even worse if you haven't already grinded the NPC's high enough. It would be so much better if I could just NG+ Endwalker as my viper since she is in the appropriate level range for Endwalker and just experience that story again and get the exp to level her to 90 and then go right into dawntrail.
Just sucks that they will probably never do this even though it seems like a no brainer to me.

Trust is the system where you level up the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and they can do the dungeons with you(whether they were available as choices for said dungeons at the time or not). Yes, this takes time and effort. But you can already do any of those dungeons solo on Viper right now if you just use the Duty Support system instead. Honestly, dont sleep on the exp from the tribal quests either. Those did a great deal of heavy lifting when i still had things to level.Me for example, I have a Paly in Dawntrail but I really want to play Viper, but we all know the queue for DPS is brutal. Yea I know what the trust system is, I just didn't really use it so my Scions are only level 73 so I'd already need to grind them up to my current level. I'm not saying there aren't options you can use to level up another job, I'm just saying those ways are a grind. It would be so much better if NG+ just gave Exp.Trust is the system where you level up the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and they can do the dungeons with you(whether they were available as choices for said dungeons at the time or not). The website literally says
"Experience a new generation of MMORPG where grinding is kept to a minimum so you can enjoy more immediate results!"
This only applies to your main job, if you want to experience the story with the other 20+ other jobs, they say well just create another character and do the story again. You can only have 8 characters per world so if I want to experience the story as every job, I'd need to spread my characters across 3 worlds. This is not how FFXIV is touted, as just like every other MMO and just create a bunch of characters. It's supposed to be 1 character and you can play any job, the entire game is built on this premise of changing jobs but only really experience the story on the main job. To me, it's just makes sense to have NG+ give exp so you can experience the main story with every job on the same character.
I'm in a Free Company so let's say I want to try out a healer and experience the story, I'd have to create a whole new character so log out and do a new one. I'd then no longer be able to interact with my FC, lets say they need a tank, I can't just switch over to my tank job because I'm on a whole new character. For one, I wouldn't even know they need a tank cause I'm not on that character. Two, I'd have to log out and back in on my other character just to do that. If NG+ was working like I think just makes sense, then I would see they need a tank and be able to just change my job to my tank and help out my FC, and then just switch back to my healer and go back to my story when done.
I just think that the way that FFXIV is meant to be played is not the way they currently have it set up with NG+. FFXIV is supposed to be different than every other MMO and right now it's not really that different if you want to experience the story with other jobs. The main draw to FFXIV, at least for me, is the story and right now it's basically just enjoy it one time with your main job and then go do some other stuff to grind every other job.

Ok, but you missed my actual point. Ignore the Trust system(unless you want the rewards associated with it). The Duty Support system is always available with no grinding required. You get the same teammate choices you had during the initial run, whenever and however many times you want.
Or you could queue for Frontlines, which is basically guaranteed 50%+ of a level per day at the minimum, on top of Viper rocking quite hard in PvP.Me for example, I have a Paly in Dawntrail but I really want to play Viper, but we all know the queue for DPS is brutal. Viper starts at 80 so you can't even play Dawntrail content yet but they expect you to just dungeon grind 10 levels, which as DPS could take a while, or use the Trust system which is even worse if you haven't already grinded the NPC's high enough.
