If you could name your island, what would you name it?

I would name mine "New Skatay" after the fact that my Bunny Boi is a Veena rather than a Rava. In my head canon, my Island is more than just an island where I produce materials. It is an island of hope anew for Veena Viera people everywhere. A new Viera settlement far away from the shackles of passed down customs.

Hope someday to be able to actually name my Islands locations, so that in text when it says "unnamed island" it will say something else. Id even love it if I could actually name all the locations so that when I visit them, they are the names of my choosing flashing up on the screen. It would be a neat little feature that could go such a long way. Heck, maybe I could even invite NPCs to move to my island. Would be cool to turn it from more than just a production center, but also a hospitable paradise in the world of Final Fantasy XIV. Surely there are people from throughout our adventures, and many more that would join us on our island if we simply could invite them.

My point is.. let us name our island. Let us have more say in what our island actually is. I want my island to be an island with a populace. It doesn't have to be heavily populated, but it would be cool to see "residents" that aren't just robots. Even if the implications of automatons does kind of make them people in a way that Vivi was from FFIX, or rather.. "Gigi" should you have done the quest. Id still like cosmetics and things that make it look more lively with actual residents.

great ideas. naming and npcs. agree to both. dont know a name though. i would put a lot of thought in it and take way too long to find names
