Imagine if the Fae SGE weapon (if it existed) was animated like the blue Morpho minion but in the visual style of the glowing wing effect.

SE, the only thing I want is for you to give me a pretty purple Hades scythe for my Hythlodaeus alt. Please
"secretly want a burning scythe" I don't care ok ?!((((
don't care if they glow just as long as they have good stats.
The ratio of likes comparing between us should really tell you all you need to know about the attitude of the wider player base in regards to these issues. My point exactly. I think if any of these modders actually worked in the same industry, they wouldn't have things done so quickly. It's portfolio building vs. secured employment and income.
Oh, let's not forget the modder's workload is so much lighter with CBU3 having done most of the work. All they're doing is a wrap job on an existing asset, where CBU3 has to start from scratch.
That QA is even brought up as something I might say further highlights the ignorance of the situation. As per my previous post, it's all about the artists' workload.
-100 class points for making fun of stutters.
QA and Quality Control is also redundant.
Although, with the arrogance you espouse, it's likely you just think we're all thick and unaware of how these things work. I'd argue that point and be willing to die on that hill.
MOST, not all, of the models you see in the game as of this very moment, and ANY model they "create" in the future, is NOT done so by entirely rigging a new model. putting bones and joints in it and so forth. MOST models we see "added" into the game are literally exactly what the modders achieve to a better degree, a reskin. There have been VERY few absolutely BRAND NEW models added to this game since the end of Stormblood. If you want even more info on this, one of SE's more recent games "Babylons Fall," even REUSED assets from XIV. This is not just a "workflow issue", it's laziness, across the industry in which SE is/was a leader of.
I've attached a spreadsheet of a list of armours that have been re-used in this xpac compared to earlier ones. The evidence speaks for itself.
I honestly don't mind you defending SE, or CBU3, I love Yoshi and Soken and Foxclon, they've created some of my dearest memories. But I highly doubt the current state of the game is due to them wholly. There's a bunch of very corporate entities sat in suits somewhere deciding where the mammoth amount of money WE pay into this project goes. And it's not back into this project we all cherish.
Source for the info regarding modding - I'm a part of a certain discord at a high level that deals with this stuff.
Also, adding to your point about some modders that don't work in the industry, I'd be remiss if I didn't say that many of the modders across certain discord servers/communities do INDEED work within the industry and mod as an aside to their daily work.

Likes are a poor measure, at least in here. Do they even hit triple digits? *
That's some interesting insight on the modders. Regardless of all that, expectations are too high. Call it a defense... I disagree. I would also like to see more, but clearly there are limits. I don't think all are unaware.
To clarify, when I talk about mods, I'm not talking about rigging an all that, I'm talking about making the full item, stats and all.
I've seen the armor spreadsheet before. Does it really speak to laziness? Maybe on its own, but when you factor weapons into the same pool of assets they're constantly working on. When I look at this I just see dungeons as a lower priority. Raids get their full effort. Trial weapons and relic weapons as well. To backtrack every time a new job comes out is costly, but you won't even talk about that. I almost appreciate this for not being the same old bullshit, but your lead in was petty and smug.* All that for 12 likes. A real man of the people....

Raids really aren't getting their full effort though are they? Most recent raids have been made nigh impossible due to the piss poor job balancing that has been going on and the devs teams answer to this is to reduce the door boss' hp by 1%.Likes are a poor measure, at least in here. When will you wake up and see this for what it is?
Also backtracking? What? Any models used by new jobs will just have one or two unique ones and the rest reskinned with a glow or some few added parts, not exactly a big deal for such a multi million £££ company is it?
You like to point the finger at those of us pointing these things out and brand us as "unaware" of the way things actually are, and yet time and time again people prove to you, with evidence, that you are simply incorrect and making yourself look a fool over and over again. And yet still you carry on.
We don't have even fully voiced raids, in which characters are integral to the overarching story. Is this laziness? Is it a lot of work for voice actors to stand in a booth and record their voices? No? Or yes?
You're really painful to debate with because you refuse to see things from both sides and would rather ad hominem attack and straw-man to elude people of their point/s,
Grow up.

You're clearly not grasping what I'm saying. We're talking about armor and weapons and you suddenly start talking raid balance and voicing?Raids really aren't getting their full effort though are they? -points up to the thread title- "Once again new jobs did not get new glowing weapons." W E A P O N S
Backtracking - I commented on going back and adding weapons to all possible areas for Sage and Reaper.
You're clearly unable to focus on the conversation anymore, so I'll just leave you to your dullness.
