Would G'raha make a better Red Mage?

I've been thinking about this since Endwalker came out, but would he? He has all the prerequisite skills and experience to become one due to his All Rounder role currently.

Meanwhile, Alisaie seems to me that she'd be more suited to a more confrontational job class because of her fighting style. When we get to control her briefly in two instance fights, both in the last patch before Endwalker and one during Endwalker, her fighting style as a Red Mage is a reverse to our own as one. She jumps in first with her rapier and then attacks from afar, rather than attacking from afar and then jumping in close with her rapier. Currently, I can't really think of any current job classes at the moment Alisaie would be better suited towards, but it seems like to me she kind of feels unsuited to be a Red Mage based off of her aggressive fighting style alone.

Assuming we do interact with them in the rest of the 6.x patchs/7.0, I would not mind seeing Gra as a Red Mage. Like you say he has all the skills at his disposal. It really should be his DPS option in trusts, post Shadowbringers anyway. As for Alisaie, I think the dance/raw magic nature of RDM suits her... but I feel she is due to be getting a new Job soon, and if she does I can very well see her as a Tank. She really likes to get up and personal with her foes, and it would make for some nice symmetry with Alphinaud being a healer.

Alisaie's approach to RDM feels lot more to me like the original Red Mage from FF1, which was primarily a physical attacker who also had a mediocre ability to cast spells.

I'd actually like to see that, too. Never thought of Alisaie becoming a tank. Something that uses raw emotion and power, like Warrior and Dark Knight would work well with her, but I can also see Alisaie being pushed in a direction that essentially allows her to have her own unique tanking job, sort of like how Y'shtola is her own version of Black Mage.

Like, Dark Knight is all about turning raw emotion into power and being able to weave powerful defensive and offensive spells, to boot. I can see Alisaie becoming this, though with a much smaller sword because of how small and petite she is (maybe a sword and shield type Dark Knight, like how Cynea on the First was), or a Dark Knight-esqe job unique to Alisaie where she takes all that she's learned from being a Red Mage and puts all of that into her own job. We'd probably get the closet thing to a Rune Knight, except its only for Alisaie.

Precisely. Graha is like that one friend who follows their crush around like a lovesick puppy and it's so cringy I just want him to go away.

Just about every major NPC has had huge shifts in their general character this expansion. Do they have completely different writers now?
