    Warrior of Darkness (HW)

    I'm watching a letsplay that's working through the back half of HeavensWard, and it reminded me.

    The Warrior of Darkness, and his companions, a rogadin, a lalafel, and an elizen.

    The flashback shows them intending to drive the Ascians from thier world....

    of course they failed, or they wouldn't be on the source, doing what they did.


    ...

    Did we ever find out WHAT world they were from?

    they're from the First, the setting of ShB.

    You think the ones we met, and defeated in heavensward are the same ones as from the first?

    There's some superficial resemblance, but I'm not entirely sure that holds up.

    ardbert literally talks about being tricked by the ascians into trying to kill us and we see him returning to the first with minfillia to stop the flood of light.

    This too we see the minfillia bit when we are traveling to the first he says a lot of the other parts when we first get to the inn room...

    Ardbert literally says it in as many words. There's no "superficial resemblance", it's literally in black and white.

    Seeing as you have a level 90 character... did you already finish the MSQ or did you skip it? If not, which point are you at? Because it is explained rather thoroughly.
