1. In at least the "Classes/Job" tab of your Character window, switching between DoW/DoM and DoH/DoL works exactly the same way but with only two "buttons."
2. It may seem an odd choice to mouse+kbd users, but it is a natural one for controller users. (e.g., console gamers)
3. most people get used to it soon enough.
