UI needs to be changed (or have options)

I don't understand why we're getting a 21st century UI with a 14th century battle theme.

The UI needs to be changed. This isn't starwars! And it isn't a final fantasy based on technology. Look at the airships, they are classy old style fantasy, the airships that the final fantasy community fell in love with, an icon of the series.

There is nothing in FFXIV and doesn't seem like there will be anything in 2.0 that indicates the technology of the game advances so fast to make us future soldiers like Iron Man.

So please change the UI or give us more options because this just doesn't really flow right.
