    EDIT: they must be part of the mission/quest/leve that the player is on in the first SS.
    One of the Reps did say you can assign and setup the PT list the way you want it so probably this is what they meant.

    But that ignores the benefits of the revamped system. More characters on screen at once, meaning larger scale content. More accessible to players using dated hardware. Personally I'd rather have shitty graphics in a fun game than pretty graphics in a shitty game.

    That being said, these screen shots look pretty amazing considering what they were aiming for. And Yoshi's comment, 'You may want to change your character's face when you see how he/she looks in 2.0' had me worried, but no longer.

    This ^, All FFXIV screenshots are usually taken on standard (middle of the range) settings with little to no AA and lower background resolution

    I am all for bad computers playing with bad graphics, but isn't that why you have customizable settings, so people with good computers can play with highres textures and people with bad computers play with lowres textures? And I would expect that they are infact showing the best settings on screenshots released to the public, so I guess we're stuck with bad groundtextures and bad foliage cause everyone wants to press "high settings" then?

    if that's the case I will be happy pappy, because believe it or not besides the lowres textures on ground and foliage, I am really happy with the graphics.
