I love it and I think it just looks that way because its the moogle saying it,... bear with me here but imagine that moogle and different characters/npc have some different text boxes to add to the immersion, if thats moogle only box then thats pretty legit.

Everything i saw looked amazing, except for this one thing. Why the hell is the NPC dialog using some kind of comic book font?

Maybe it's specific to moogles?

While the font may need a change, I personally like the dialog box. It doesn't seem cartoony as much as organic or natural to me.
