Stop getting super offended at someone who wants to be realistic over a company who is notoriously bad for hyping and disappointing the fan-base. Wasn't XIVs initial release enough of a lesson for most of you?

I was complaining? I said stop hyping it up so much. Keep your emotions in check. The game hasn't even got in game footage yet and people are saying "Fuck every other MMO" "Game is saved" etc.

Can you not be cautiously optimistic? People on this forum are either "FUCK THIS SHITTY GAME" or "THIS GAME IS THE BEST THING EVER" can you not find middle ground?

People are getting offended because they're expressing excitement and gratitude over what new stuff we've been shown so far, and you're here telling them not to because you personally don't agree or approve of it.

If people want to hype themselves up and express it in the forums, that's their right to. It's not your right to tell them to "stop" doing so. It is your right to not read the thread if it offends you so.

Best part is, positive people aren't known for ruining anything as compared to constantly negative people. In terms of gaming, negative people do the most harm, not positive people. People want want to be happy, they want to be positive, but it's hard when the developer prevents that.

This is why indie games are getting lots of love because they make people happy versus:

Seriously, people are happy to finally see progress, no one is "losing their shit", you read the XI forums you'd see instantly that people are butthurt over XIV as is, someone was joking about trolling it with it purely to see their reactions lol, key word, joking...cuz they were happy.
