Please give us the Ancients' Mask

Exarch will happen sooner or later. Both Healer and Caster Rinascita sets gr8ly resemble Emets attire but bc hes a villain we will likely never see him on the mogstation. We have Omega sure but its a jank undyable one piece and Omega is a raid villain, not msq.
If we ever get a villain set Gaius' Legatus attire will likely be first (heirsbane gunblade optional).
This all said I really dont want them adding more npc hero or villain sets unless theyre multipiece and dyable. I see chicas in the Ryne boots all the time even more people will buy sets if you can pick and choose what you're wearing.

One I would love Gaius’ Ascian Hunter set, for so many reasons i dont really care about the legatus outfit but it’d be cool.

Two: just because Emet appeared as a villain doesn’t mean anything. Bozja had Legatus (judge) armors, as you pointed out there’s also Omega, Amon’s armor is in CT.

Three: Emet Selch isn’t really a villain. I mean without him we wouldn’t have gotten to the final boss of Endwalker, we would have never discovered the truth in Elpis. There’s even a questline that asks you whether you agree more with Emet Selch or Venat. So it’s not unreasonable to want his mask and attire. (Plus actual ascian robes has been requested for awhile now and it would be a cool way to fulfill out promise to Emet Selch at the end of Shadowbringers and remember them.

yknow, not giving a player race an eyemask related to their oh so important progenitor species because "oh its hard ;_;" is absolutely something they would do, just like how they screwed Viera and Hrothgar out of the appointed cap. Yes, he personally caused all 7 rejoinings, and wow way to simplify and minimize his reasonings. Im not saying Emet Selch was a good guy or a hero but he’s been made to be more of a tragic figure. Someone trying to do whatever he can to save his own people. It has nothing to do with his like or dislike of the current races.

It's kind of a weak case of "both are as bad", when the poster in question is making rather valid points as to why he is not straightforwardly a villain (the attributions being made to him by the other poster aren't quite correct - he exploits the Garlean resentment against their neighbours but isn't the one who instilled it; that comes from their history with their neighbours and before that), much as Venat, whatever the story tries to say, is not straighforwardly a hero - nuance which I'd add the Omega quest-line points to - and tbh, it seems rather irrelevant at this point to whether an outfit will be added or not. Given that the context here is how SE regards him, rather than one's personal assessment of him (which one is perfectly entitled to), it's fair to say it's more complicated than just labelling him a villain. Besides, they've opened up some 'villain' outfits for player use, anyway.

I mean if you wanna talk "facts" (you're wrong on his people still existing in the same form but for aetheric density - it's well known they differed along a whole catalogue of traits, in addition to having their entire civilisation and history of it wiped out), we can point to the fact that Ms Herois deliberately spared him knowing what he'd do after she genocided his people. But like I said above, his in-story treatment, as well as further elaborations given by Ishikawa and Yoshi, certainly do not aim to portray him as a pure villain, any more than they do to portray Venat as purely virtuous.
